What We Need:
Brady is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves troubleshooting complex process issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and providing technical guidance and leadership to technicians and hourly associates, even if they do not report directly to the engineer.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leads key associates to promote participation and cooperation in process development/improvement initiatives.
Ensures conformance with and application of policies and procedures.
Designs, deploys and validates new manufacturing processes and techniques.
Responsible for smooth product production/constant production flow.
Create, document and implement procedures for assembling, testing and packaging processes.
Re-engineers operations and manufacturing processes.
Designs, installs and debugs tooling and new capital equipment.
Responsible for continuous improvement activities.
Develops training systems and support documentation for associates.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
3-5 years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer.
Lean manufacturing experience
Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of quality management systems, specifically ISO-9001.
Must be a strong team player
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Printing and/or converting industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of statistical tools; GR&Rs, SPC, DOE’s, Ppk’s
