Description: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing existing production lines while contributing to the development, qualification, and launch of new products. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate across engineering and operations teams to drive manufacturing excellence and innovation. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Engineering and Semiconductor Operations.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
· Support existing production lines. Assist in troubleshooting electro-mechanical issues with capital equipment and dispositioning assembly builds.
· Lead engineering and or manufacturing change orders.
· Monitor manufacturing processes. Identify ways of reducing scrap, decreasing production time, decreasing cost, and or improving quality.
· Analyze and develop technical engineering reports of production test data.
· Develop manufacturing processes for the launch of new products by reviewing electromechanical prints, BOMs, and specifications. Recommend improvements in the design for manufacturability during the product development process.
· Develop manufacturing and quality requirements for the inspection of precision machined components, sub-assemblies, and capital equipment systems.
· Document manufacturing process instructions, test instructions, and quality inspection processes.
· Lead the investigation of quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and determine and or implement corrective and preventative actions.
· Assist in training manufacturing technicians.
· Identify and implement new manufacturing technologies, tools, methods, or equipment.
· Implement safety standards for new manufacturing processes.
· Project management of custom engineering projects.
· Develop concepts, prepare designs, detail drawings, estimate costs, and coordinate procurement of manufacturing fixtures for production.
Assist in developing procedures for maintaining manufacturing equipment

Requirements: · 3+ Years of industry experience
· B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, or Industrial Engineering
· Hands-on Experience with Electro-Mechanical Equipment Troubleshooting
· Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a production volume environment
· Self-motivated, ambitious, strong team player, high energy, self-motivated
Desired Skills:
· Project Management
· Hands-On Mechanical Experience, small precision assemblies preferred
· CAD, SolidWorks Preferred
· ERP/MES Experience, NetSuite preferred
· Data Analysis and Technical Reporting, National Instruments FlexLogger preferred
· Familiarity with Six Sigma Techniques, DOE techniques, Continuous Improvement Projects, 8Ds, 5S, DMAIC Process, Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping
· Metrology. CMMs or Vision inspection Systems preferred.
· Statistical Process Control, experience with Minitab or JMP preferred
· Experience with database queries, MS Access and SQL Database experience preferred
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
