Location: Seymour, IN (Fully Onsite)
Job Type: Long-Term Contract
Pay: $42.96 per hour, Overtime Eligible
Schedule: 7:00 AM3:30 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM, 40 hours per week

What Youll Do:
Act as the mechanical systems expert by investigating, supporting, and optimizing equipment functionality and reliability Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine spare part needs and design solutions for MRO efficiency Create technical drawings, manage spare parts strategies, and maintain accurate catalogs Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Indirect Materials teams to improve materials availability Communicate with suppliers to assess part specifications, costs, lead times, and substitutions Support the implementation of MRO storage systems to improve operational flow Work independently while collaborating across departments on high-visibility projects
What You Bring:
Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, parts diagrams, and spare strategy development Experience with CMMS platforms such as Maximo Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with CAD and project management tools Clear communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred, or at least 10 years of relevant experience in Maintenance or Manufacturing Engineering Preferred candidates will have 5 to 7 years of experience in plant engineering, assembly or machining environments, indirect materials management, or technical sourcing A combination of technical and supply chain experience is highly valued
