Manufacturing Engineer – Robotics (Manassas, VA)
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer - Robotics for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement robotic automation solutions for manufacturing processes. Program and integrate Fanuc and Epson robots with existing manufacturing systems, utilizing PLC programming expertise.
This (Monday through Thursday: 10 hours per day) role, and an On-site role in Manassas, VA.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Develop and maintain documentation for robotic systems and processes
Optimize and maintain the production line to ensure maximum uptime and throughput, while maintaining high-quality standards
Work closely with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or a related field, with a focus on high-volume, low-mix manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in PLC programming, with experience in industrial robot programming and integration (Fanuc and Epson experience highly preferred).
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with machine tending and automation of manual stations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
