How You Will Make An Impact
Research, evaluate, and document spare parts, machine drawings, and equipment maintenance requirements
Interpret technical documents, part diagrams, and BOMs to support plant spares strategy
Identify and catalog spare parts, assess cross-referencing for international and domestic sourcing options
Maintain and update records in Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., Maximo)
Support the development and optimization of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) storage systems
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to implement cataloging and crib storage practices
Communicate with vendors to clarify technical specs, pricing, lead times, and ordering strategies
Utilize Excel and other organizational tools to manage project trackers, materials lists, and supplier interactions
Apply independent problem-solving and judgment to process improvement initiatives
Assist with process development related to indirect materials procurement and crib organization
Are You a Technical Spares & MRO Rock Star?
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (or 10+ years relevant experience in manufacturing/maintenance)
57 years of demonstrated experience in Maintenance, Manufacturing Assembly, Indirect Crib management, or Material Planning
Strong technical knowledge of equipment spares, BOMs, and part diagrams
Hands-on experience with Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., Maximo or equivalent)
Proficiency in Excel, documentation tools, and project tracking software
Skilled communicator, capable of discussing technical and logistical requirements with vendors and cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented team player with excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with CAD software and understanding of mechanical drawings is a strong plus
Background in MRO storage systems, indirect sourcing, and parts strategy is highly desirable
