Description
Job Summary: Design, develop, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities: Provides engineering product support for all products (Air Handlers, Condensing Units, Sheet Metal and Coils). Provides and reviews workflow design and improvement, product changes, process changes, and capacity analysis. Provides direct support to production personnel with manufacturing issues which include but are not limited to assembly or fit of components, process improvement. Acts as a liaison between production and engineering and makes decisions concerning daily line calls and production issues. Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing documentation pertaining to part specifications, work instructions, process flow maps, quality control/quality assurance. Works individually or in project teams to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination. Works individually or in project teams to design layout of equipment, materials, & workspace for maximum efficiency based on current designs and products. Evaluates designs and processes for improvements and cost savings continuously.
Qualifications
• Must possess a Bachelors in Science in Engineering, or related field, from accredited educational institution. Education beyond the minimum is added advantage for career development. • Possess a minimum of 2-3 plus years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry. Revised May, 2016
