Title: Mainframe Systems Engineer/ Administrator Location: Omaha, Nebraska (Onsite) Duration: 6-12 Months Contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: Analyze mainframe operating systems and resources to optimize performance and reliability. Participate in the selection, testing, installation, and implementation of new mainframe hardware and software.

Required Experience: At least 3 years in mainframe engineering and administration. In-depth knowledge and experience with mainframe z/OS operating systems. Experience with RACF and security protocols. Experience with DB2 and JCL scripting.

Helpful Experience: Familiarity with Assembler, COBOL, CICS, BMC and data structures. Familiarity with FileAid, Expeditor IBM MQ and Broadcom CA7/CA1. Familiarity with REXX.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience.
