·Hands on experience Scheduling experience in IBM IWS (OPC/TWS)on Mainframe z/OS platform, CA Jobtrac Scheduling products and IBM OmegamonMonitoring product ·Familiar with Mainframe Console monitoring responding to WTORs ·Perform scheduled and unscheduled system shutdown and startup(IPL) utilizing the Hardware Management Console (HMC); perform environmentalverifications after IPL is complete ·Respond to all console messages and alerts requiringintervention and action ·Perform and verify system configuration changes as specifiedduring weekend maintenance ·Flexibility to work in 24x7 shifts and weekends ·Monitor all batch flow processing and insure timely completionof endpoints using TWS, Jobtrac ·Identify delays or bottlenecks using proprietary and vendortools and resolve or escalate ·Perform level 1 and level 2 supports and resolution for allbatch abends ·Track incoming and outgoing transmissions ensuring they meetdeadlines, escalating to appropriate vendors and Datacenter management whennecessary ·Monitor real time monitoring and L1 event management utilizingautomation products, 3rd party monitoring software and in-house proprietarytools ·Document system monitoring gaps and interface with engineers toremediate gaps and improve monitoring messaging ·
