This Machine Learning Engineer will be joining a high-impact, high-visibility team that’s just getting started. This is your chance to help lay the groundwork for ML powers this global company’s future. Position Summary: Collaborate closely with data scientists to design and build workflows that bring ML models to life—whether it’s powering real-time personalization or enhancing batch processing pipelines. Rapidly prototype algorithmic solutions using AWS tools, always with scale and performance top of mind. Transition prototypes into fully productionized systems using infrastructure-as-code best practices. Continuously refine and evolve existing ML systems and workflows to increase performance and business impact. Work hand-in-hand with data engineering to ensure ML models have timely access to the right data, in the right format. Stay sharp—keep up with emerging AI tools, AWS services, and architectural patterns in the ML engineering space. Align solutions with enterprise standards by partnering with data architecture, governance, and security teams. At least 6 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a focus on machine learning or algorithmic systems in a cloud environment. Proficiency in AWS services—you understand how to architect systems for scale, resilience, and speed. Strong programming skills in Python, with a solid grasp of SQL, PySpark, and containerized environments using Docker. Comfort working with both streaming and batch data processing frameworks. Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with collaborative workflows like standups, sprints, and retros. Working knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills—you know how to work well with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders alike. MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
