P40 EMPLOYEE ROLE
Individual Contributor This role includes prompt engineering, system design, ML model assessment, building data pipelines, creation of prototypes, evaluation, operationalization.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both classical and deep learning techniques, with the ability to develop and deploy production-ready machine learning solutions.

What you'll do
Contribute to the backend services that power ML and Generative-AI features.
Design, develop, implementand evaluate machine learning models using classical and deep learning approaches, as well as GenAI
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing products and services
Analyze and improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and stability of AI enabled workflows
Stay current with the latest advancements in ML and AI technologies
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the ML team
What you need to succeed
Required Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering roles
Strong software engineering skills, including version control, code review, and CI/CD practices
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Sagemaker
Experience in developing and deploying ML models in production environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for ML deployment
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Generative AI technologies and applications is a plus
Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and other modern NLP techniques is a plus
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools is a plus
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $142,700 -- $257,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
