Required Skills: Machine Learning Engineer Responsibilities: Develop scalable classifiers and tools using machine learning, data regression, and rule-based models. Gather, synthesize requirements, and create effective feature roadmaps. Collaborate with the engineering team to code deliverables. Optimize standard machine learning methods for modern parallel environments (e.g., distributed clusters, multicore SMP, GPU). Address various classification and optimization problems such as payment fraud detection, click-through rate prediction, spam detection, search ranking, sentiment analysis, collaborative filtering, and recommendation systems. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with two years of relevant work experience. Two years of experience in: Business recommendation insights; Big data technologies like Hadoop, HBase, Pig, Spark, MapReduce, Sawzall, Bigtable; Developing and debugging in C/C++ and Java; Scripting languages: Perl, Python, PHP, shell scripts; Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; Developing machine learning algorithms for natural language processing; Large-scale distributed training and real-time inference; Building end-to-end machine learning pipelines for offline and online experiments.
