Your ImpactAs a Lead Backend Software Engineer, your job responsibilities will include:Build new and exciting components in an ever-growing and evolving market technology to provide scale and performance efficiencies for our customers.Develop high-quality, production-ready code that can be used by millions of users of our cloud platform.Make design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion.Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve shared goalsWork in a Hybrid Engineering model and contribute to all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of the features.Build efficient components/algorithms on a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environmentCode review, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical guidance to the team (depending on the seniority level)Required SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.7+ years of software development experienceExperience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies, with attention to code quality, delivering secure codeExcellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detailHave a passion for working together as a team and ensuring team members’ success. Lead and mentor junior members of the team.Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and other scripting languages: Java, Python, Scala C#, Go, Node.JS and C++.Strong SQL skills and experience and experience with relational and non-relational databases e.g. (Postgress/Trino/redshift/Mongo).Experience with developing SAAS products over public cloud infrastructure - AWS/Azure/GCP.Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.Proficiency in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution, along with understanding of relational databases and non-relational databases.A deeper understanding of software development best practices and demonstrate leadership skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Big-Data/ML and S3Experience with generative AI, LLMs #J-18808-Ljbffr
