Position Title: Field Service Engineer Level I-II

Reports to: Head of Field Services--Americas

FT/PT: Full-Time

Location: Wisconsin-Madison Area

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our expanding field service team. In this role, as LCC brings them to market, you will initially provide on-site evaluation, maintenance, and repair services for our Upright CT and Patient Positioning devices, as well as other products. You will work closely with our customers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of their equipment, while also identifying opportunities for product improvements and service enhancements. The ideal candidate will reside within a 50-mile radius of Madison, WI, and be willing to travel up to 40% of the time.


Key responsibilities:

Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on all Leo Cancer Care products.

Interface with key customer contacts on equipment issues. Act to ensure satisfaction with primary customers. Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure timely resolution and proper follow-up, ultimatelyleading to customer satisfaction.

Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities, such as promptly maintaining customer service reports and internal service records.

Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.

Identify Sales opportunities, communicate to the sales team, and assist in the growth and direction of business in his/her geographic area.

Working as a local team member to provide efficient and cost-effective service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.

Responsible for Warranty and Service Agreement cost control.

Administration: Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time. Ensures timely completion of Field Change Orders (FCOs) and Planned Maintenance (PM) inspections documentation for assigned accounts.

Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:

Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (Electronics, Mechatronics, Software, etc.) preferred, Associate's degree, technical/vocational training, military experience with electronics, or relevant domain experience

A strong understanding of a service operation

Good external customer-facing skills

Proven experience maintaining complex electro-mechanical systems.

Experience with medical devices such as linear accelerators, MRI, CT, or similar modalities isan advantage.

An effective team player, able to use expert knowledge to influence and guide the business.

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Excellent trouble-shooting skills - adaptability

Willing to work normal and non-normal hours as required to support customers.

Comfortable working collaboratively and autonomously as required.

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience of working with Salesforce is beneficial.

A valid driving license is required.

Must reside within 1 hour of a major airport with the ability for international connections.
