We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to build out the software needed to manage and operate our manufacturing facilities across the U.S. with the vision to create 95% autonomous manufacturing for single family homes. You will be the visionary technology leader responsible for driving the strategic direction of the engineering needs and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software that will enable ARCbuild to scale into a multi-billion-dollar unicorn.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a product roadmap to build the vision of autonomous factories for the construction affordable homes, while automating the entire manufacturing process end-to-end
Collaborate closely with management to translate business needs into technical solutions
Write clean, maintainable code in your chosen OOP
Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
Guide and mentor future engineering hires as the team grows
Own the entire technical stack and architecture
Build a scalable and reliable platform to support future growth
Play a foundational role in the company’s engineering culture
Qualifications
Strong technical background in any object-oriented programming
Experience designing and building full-stack applications
Proven ability to make architectural decisions and lead technical projects
Entrepreneurial mindset
Ability and willingness to work on multiple, interacting applications (Gen-AI based floor plan and render creation, agentic procurement and order management software, computer vision-based quality control, etc.)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Experience in the construction / real estate industry and/or advanced manufacturing is a big plus
