The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Process Engineer (Product Lifecycle Process Architect) (Level 4) to support the Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE) Team in Hazelwood, MO .
This position will be responsible for leading process development and implementation on a proprietary program in Phantom Works. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize processes and tool integrations in the establishment of the next generation digital ecosystem within BDS. The ideal candidate will have experience in enhancing PLM and operation solutions with modern capabilities to drive automation, data insight and intelligent workflows. Collaborative and dynamic in nature, this role must be adaptive, agile, and display ownership over assigned objectives and responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities
Continuously monitor and analyze engineering and production processes to identify and implement advancements in efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness
Lead and direct the implementation of program transition plans to improve existing processes and optimize the effective application of new tool technology
Oversee technical integration analysis to engineering design teams through the use of virtual visualization and simulation tools
Collaborate cross-functionally to establish process controls and specifications while ensuring product quality in accordance with industry standards
Provide training and technical support to engineering, operations, and supply chain teams on new processes and work instructions
Develop, implement, and maintain documentation pertaining to part specifications, work instructions, process flow maps, and quality control assurance
Develop and maintain scripts using for automating tasks within the digital ecosystem
Work under minimal direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Experience within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Experience developing and/or working within/applying engineering processes, procedures and using process based metrics to drive efficiency
Proficient in Product Data Management (PDM), Bill of Materials, (BOM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and ERP/MRP systems
Advanced troubleshooting, prioritization, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Experience with Dassault MSOSA, Siemens TeamCenter, Siemens NX, Siemens OpCenter, and SAP S/4HANA
Experience supporting or leading major digital transformation programs
Familiar in the application / deployment of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Experience in the aerospace industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
