In Application Development & Maintenance, we focus on the configuration and coding necessary to develop, enhance, and sustain our software systems. We work within cross-functional teams while following established design control processes and maintaining good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases, and websites to effectively meet both internal needs and external business demands. We collaborate with business leaders, assess user needs, and regularly evaluate, maintain, and enhance existing applications. Responsibilities Lead the technical design strategy and details for our LIMS (Labware) application.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain our LIMS application to support our Microbiology and Analytical laboratories.
Ensure all configurations and developments comply with regulatory requirements.
Navigate and leverage the Labware database structure to facilitate system integration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Support integrations with laboratory instruments and applications.
Manage the relationship with the LIMS vendor.
Qualifications 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
3-6 years of experience with LIMS and Lab Systems in a medical or pharmaceutical setting preferred.
Strong experience with Labware applications, including Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and workflow creation and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with at least one Labware LIMS implementation in a GxP environment.
Experience working within a regulated GxP environment.
Proven ability to coordinate development projects with in-house and contracted teams.
Excellent communication skills for understanding and gathering requirements from application users.
