Lead Firmware Engineer Were seeking an experienced Lead Firmware Engineer to own critical aspects of embedded system architecture, software design, and hardware integration for next-generation laser-based products. This role requires close collaboration with hardware, optics, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver robust, production-quality firmware. Essential Expertise: Proven experience developing C/C++ firmware for complex embedded systems, including hardware interface drivers (SPI, I2C, USB, ADC, DAC). Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g., FreeRTOS), including task scheduling, resource management, and interrupt handling. Strong collaboration skills with hardware teams to bring up new boards, validate components, and integrate firmware with system hardware. Expertise in software validation methods such as unit testing, software/hardware-in-the-loop testing, and tools like JTAG debuggers and oscilloscopes. Proficiency with Git workflows and automated build/test pipelines to ensure code quality throughout development.

Additional Skills (not required): Experience with STM32 HAL libraries and low-level embedded programming in resource-constrained environments. Ability to review circuit schematics, support FPGA development (SystemVerilog exposure helpful), and write Python scripts for automated testing.
