This role is responsible for maintenance of our DataOps framework. This role will partner with the DevOps and QA teams to align version control and CI/CD processes and work with the User Access Management and Systems Administration teams to formalize Single Sign-on (SSO) integration, access request workflows, and whitelisting. The Lead Data Operations Engineer performs an essential role in maintaining compliance of Data Governance obligations under CCPA and GDPR.

Responsibilities Develops high-quality, scalable back-end code. This includes REST API development, scripting, SQL database development/maintenance, unit tests, and design documentation.

Embraces an "Infrastructure as Code" approach to automatically provision and align access across data tools.

Assists in developing and maintaining data governance policies and standards.

Understands the business purpose of data and becomes an expert capable of making recommendations and decisions that represent both the business intent and the technical need.

Builds and delivers data solutions. From POCs to customer facing services, ensures teams are working on the right priorities and share development responsibilities where needed.

Owns end to end integration testing between multiple independent systems and interfaces (flat files, APIs, OLTP, etc.)

Analyzes and optimizes by identifying gaps and leads teams through optimization processes.

Works closely with management and stakeholders, bringing transparency to your work and outcomes. Creates and shares excellent documentation across the technology organization. Who We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), required

9+ years of related experience, required.

12+ years of related experience, preferred.

Strong experience with Micro-services oriented architecture and extensible SQL, REST API, and GraphQL.

Fluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and AWS DevOps Operational Framework.

Highly skilled in security protocols and products. Understanding of Active Directory, Okta, SAML SCIM, and Oauth.

Proven understanding of an "Infrastructure as Code" approach to data access and governance.

Strong understanding of Version Control tools and processes including DBT, , or other DataOps framework.

Extensive experience with metadata management, data Ingestion, data management, data quality, and data lineage services and technologies.

Extensive experience in design, development, and documentation of REST API endpoints.

Strong ability to design and implement enterprise data governance solutions, data quality, and data lineage solutions.

Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
