Your new role As our Lead Consultant, you will work on complex projects involving permitting, management, remediation, modification, and closure of industrial waste impoundments, water and tailings dams, and contaminated sites. Your key responsibilities will be: Supporting the conceptual design, permitting, final design, and construction of geoenvironmental remediation systems (cutoff walls, barriers, closures, caps, groundwater management systems, etc.) for industrial waste impoundments and contaminated sites. Supporting dam safety assessments and management practices. Performing construction quantity takeoffs and cost estimations. Collaborating with engineering and CAD teams to develop drawings, specifications, and CQA plans. Performing geotechnical calculations including seepage, slope stability, seismic and liquefaction assessments, and settlement analyses. About You Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical, geoenvironmental, and civil engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri and Illinois, or ability to obtain licensure via reciprocity within 6 months. Support development of civil and geoenvironmental design projects. Lead field subsurface investigation programs. Work semi-independently with limited oversight from experienced staff. What We Can Offer You Interesting and diverse projects.
