In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to drive process improvements, conduct specialized studies, and define comprehensive requirements in a collaborative environment. This full-time position is contingent upon the award of the contract and requires an active Secret Security clearance or higher. Although remote work is an option, occasional paid travel may be required to client locations in San Antonio, Texas or Baltimore, Maryland. Key Responsibilities: Exhibit subject matter expertise for defined tasks, providing analytical insight to enhance processes. Develop and document requirements, functional models, architectures, and procedures through thorough analysis and planning. Engage in engineering tasks related to back-end design and development, focusing on scalable architectures and integrations. Design and enhance RESTful APIs, manage databases, and optimize data models. Minimum Qualifications: Active Secret clearance or higher. 10 years of relevant experience in software development. Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience. 10 years of software development experience with a focus on object-oriented and scripted languages. 5 years of strong experience in back-end web design and development. Demonstrated expertise in relational databases, RESTful API development, and integration. Experience with Python and PostgreSQL, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and web-based application testing. Proven leadership in software development projects. Cloud environment development experience. 3 years of working knowledge with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux. Expertise in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL. Proficiency in at least five of the following technologies: BASH Spring Ansible JUnit5 Nexus Repository Maven Preferred Skills: Active TS/SCI clearance. Experience with data integration from unclassified to classified applications. 5 years of experience in DoD software development. Experience with Agile Test-Driven Development.
