Job Title: Kafka Messaging Engineer

Duration: 12-18 months

Location: Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC

Required Pay Scale: $90-93/hr W2

Just seeking a skilled messaging dev who knows Kafka and Confluent.

Responsible for updating the existing automation programs and develop new infrastructure automation for deploying and managing core emerging messaging software (Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ etc.) in internal or external cloud.

Develop testing automation and troubleshoot problems during testing.

Responsible for providing IT security and automation expertise. Provides baseline security standards and policies for multiple projects of high complexity. Will be identifying potential threats and risks and making recommendations to prevent these issues. Required Skills:

7 + years of hands-on experience of software development. Skilled in updating automation programs and developing new infrastructure automation for deploying and managing core emerging messaging software (Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ etc.)

Hands on with Kafka or IBM IQ

Hands-on experience with Develop Test Automation using Python/Ansible or Terraform - the candidate will be working a separate automation project next to the Kafka one

Basic knowledge of Linux /UNIX Shell Scripting
