The role involves developing impactful software tools for both YC and its founders, enhancing processes related to applications, fundraising, investments, and hiring. Responsibilities: • Write serious power tools to help partners manage the application process and make decisions. • Build critical tools for founders to raise a successful seed round: a leads pipeline from Demo Day, legal tools to execute YC safes, and an all-in-one CRM to manage investor relations. • Develop software to help manage over $6B in YC's fund, including investment allocation and record-keeping with AI. • Create a job marketplace for founders to engage with over 2M job seekers and develop messaging and AI-assisted recruiting tools. Qualifications: Required: • Experience in front-end software development. • Ability to work in a small team environment. • Flexibility to change teams and adapt to new challenges. • Experience with Rails, React, and Postgres. • Willingness to engage with customers regularly. • Ability to ship code rapidly. • Interest in AI and its application in software development. • Commitment to being part of the team for at least 2-3 years. • Must live in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate.
