Pay: $27/hr - $30/hr (based on experience)

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our client's research lab. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and researchers to set up, operate, and maintain specialized equipment for testing liquid cooling hardware. If you're mechanically inclined, love working in Excel, are team-oriented, and enjoy solving technical challenges, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, helping to bring new technology to life on a daily basis. Here's a glimpse of your exciting responsibilities:
Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory test equipment related to liquid cooling systems
Assist in the design and fabrication of experimental test setups
Execute and monitor experiments; collect and record accurate data
Conduct performance and durability testing on prototypes and subsystems
Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues during test cycles
Maintain organized experimental documentation and lab records
Contribute to technical reports and presentations
Follow lab safety procedures and ensure compliance with EHS standards
Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment
What You Bring to the Table
We're looking for someone who's as passionate about people as they are about results. Here's what you'll need:
Required: High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in a related technical role OR associate degree in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or similar field
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, hardware fabrication, and/or basic machining
Proficient in Excel
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Team player with a strong work ethic and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years in a lab setting working with HVAC or data center cooling hardware
Experience with POC Programming, Signal Processing, and Flow Meters
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
