The Emerging Technology Engineer 1 assists in analyzing enterprise requirements and applies emerging technologies to support long-term business objectives. This role is responsible for researching, collecting, and disseminating information on new technologies and key learnings across the organization. Assignments are typically straightforward and of moderate complexity.
Job Description:
Research and recommend changes to foundational architecture to support business growth and innovation.
Support research projects that identify and evaluate emerging technologies with potential enterprise applications.
Interface with users and staff to assess possible implementation of new technology, aiming to improve existing systems and meet business needs.
Analyze and research deployment processes and assist in their execution.
Demonstrate an understanding of professional concepts, standards, regulations, strategies, and operational guidelines relevant to the assigned work area.
Make decisions regarding personal work approach and priorities, adhering to direction and existing procedures or professional standards, with some interpretation as required.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
About 3 years of technical experience.
Demonstrated passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Additional Information:
Candidates who are recent graduates and have 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Please note that all work is conducted in the Eastern Time Zone.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$66,800 - $91,100 per year
