Responsibilities: Develop algorithms/solutions for edge device (e.g., XR devices) imaging pipelines, including multi-frame burst processing, demosaicing, denoising, artifact reduction, HDR tone-mapping, and content-aware sharpening. Apply excellent programming skills and/or machine learning knowledge to optimize algorithms for computational photography challenges in edge devices. Prototype and evaluate research papers in computational photography, computer vision, graphics, and Generative AI. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree in an industry setting. 2 years of experience in computational photography/computer vision. 1 year of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. Preferred: Experience with GPU, NEON, Halide, DSP optimization algorithms. Experience with testing, profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing code for latency. Experience developing for low compute or power-constrained Android devices. Experience with C/C++ build systems and tooling. Passion for productionizing computational photography technologies.
