Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Systems Engineer to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and implement Java-based applications to meet specific business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient solutions. Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing applications to improve system efficiency. Work with VMS Security ID processes and ensure compliance with data governance. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices. Document application components, processes, and systems to ensure a clear understanding of the architecture. Ensure the security and integrity of all systems and applications. Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose enhancements to existing systems. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience in Java EE environments. Experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling. Familiarity with RESTful API design and web services. Desired Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a related role. Previous experience in collaborating with teams across multiple locations. Experience in remote work, with knowledge of best practices in virtual collaboration. Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in relevant projects.
