Job Description:- I'm reaching out regarding an exciting Java Software Engineer opening in Austin, TX . This long-term contract offers a mix of remote and onsite work (Monday & Tuesday onsite), and involves working on meaningful public-facing applications across various social service programs.

Role Highlights: Develop & enhance web-based J2EE/Portal applications using Agile and SOA platforms. Lead UI development using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, TypeScript, and other modern frameworks. Collaborate across teams, contribute to technical designs, documentation, testing, and performance optimization. Support ADA/Accessibility standards and responsive design across mobile and tablet platforms. Apply best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability for client-facing web applications.

Must-Have Skills: 8+ years in UI/Front-End development (Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) Deep understanding of SDLC, authentication, caching, and performance tuning Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, IBM WebSphere, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines preferred
