The way we share ideas, learning, experiences, successes, and joy allows everyone to be their best at Ascendion. *** About the Role *** Key Responsibilities: Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java 11+ (preferably Java 17+) and Spring Boot Build and maintain microservices with efficient deployment to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Work with AWS cloud services for various application needs Write unit and integration tests using JUnit or equivalent frameworks, ensuring >90% code coverage Optimize database queries and data models using strong SQL skills Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript Leverage Redux and other frontend libraries as needed Collaborate with DevOps on Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NoSQL databases Familiarity with Redux in React applications Exposure to containerization and deployment on AKS Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs Location: This is Hybrid Role (Bay Area,CA) Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110000 - $120000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
