Key Responsibilities:
Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Work with Java-based applications to analyze code and fix issues.
Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for escalated issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Participate in deployment and release activities.
Strong knowledge of Java / J2EE technologies.
Experience with SQL / PL-SQL and database troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in application support, log analysis, and debugging.
Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner, adhering to defined SLAs.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to applications, databases, networks, and infrastructure components.
Implement fixes, patches, and updates to resolve issues and enhance system stability.
Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and operational procedures for future reference.
Perform regular system health checks and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with development teams to prioritize and address bug fixes and enhancements.
Participate in change management processes, including the review and approval of production changes.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including training and troubleshooting assistance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in production support and IT operations.
7+ years of experience in customer support or product support roles.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
