Project Description:

Infrastructure engineer replacing a long term CW (20+ years) who is retiring. Will work on a team responsible for Microsoft client infrastructure used in retail and corporate environments.

Position Summary/Job Description:

Seeking a self-motivated IT Engineer with extensive experience in managing diverse hardware types, platforms, and management tools within a large retail enterprise. The ideal candidate will provide detailed status updates to team members and leadership, demonstrating strong technical and troubleshooting skills, have strong written and verbal skills as well as an aptitude for process improvement and a willingness to learn new technologies as the business evolves.

Skills Overview:

Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft OS

Experience with Printing, desktop support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Able to work independently as well as with a large team, as required.

Able to communicate effectively –written and verbally, as required.

Number of years of experience should be more than 5, but skills and what was actually done in previous roles is more important.

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

Experience with POS systems, JIRA, Github, and Microsoft InTune.
