IT Support Engineer

New Yesterday

Chicago At Cleverbridge, our IT Support Engineers play a vital role in keeping our global operations running. They are trusted partners who help keep our global organization connected, productive, and supported every day. In this role, you’ll be part of a small, collaborative team that supports 300+ employees across North America and Europe. IT Support engineers combine hands-on problem solving with opportunities to improve and streamline how IT works at scale. From helping a teammate troubleshoot their laptop to assisting with big-picture improvements in how we manage our systems—you’ll make a meaningful difference. You don’t need to be an expert in everything on day one. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your ability to communicate clearly, and your desire to make things better. You'll work with tools like Microsoft 365, network and device management platforms, and automation scripts—but just as importantly, you’ll help shape the experience of what it feels like to reach out to IT at Cleverbridge. Whether you’re solving a support ticket, streamlining a process, or contributing to a project rollout, your work will directly support the success of every person at the company. Key Responsibilities Be a go-to teammate for your colleagues by providing friendly, effective support for laptops, phones, printers, video calls, and other tools we use every day. Solve incoming IT support requests through our ticketing system and help make sure everyone stays productive and connected. Support the onboarding experience so new team members have everything they need to succeed from day one, and ensure the secure and compliant offboarding process Take care of day-to-day systems like email, file sharing, and collaboration platforms—and learn to manage more over time. Help maintain and improve the tools we use to set up new devices, roll out software, and keep systems up to date. Work closely with vendors and our team to assist with projects, from upgrades to new tool rollouts. Keep track of hardware, software, and licensing to make sure everything is accounted for and working as it should. Pitch in on documentation so the next person solving a similar issue has a clear path. Tip your toes into automation to make repetitive tasks faster and more efficient. Participate in our continuous improvement culture—your suggestions for doing things better are always welcome! What We're Looking For Around 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role A strong desire to keep learning and developing your technical and customer service skills. Some hands-on familiarity with tools like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SharePoint, or Intune—or the willingness to learn them quickly. A basic understanding of how computers talk to each other (things like DNS, IP addresses, or VPNs). A proactive mindset: You don’t wait for someone to ask—you take the initiative to investigate and improve. Clear communication skills and patience when helping teammates who aren’t as technical. Great organization skills—you’re good at juggling tasks, following up, and seeing things through. Any certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus, but not required. We care more about your curiosity and commitment. Why Join Cleverbridge?
