Kuiper IT Services is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide technical support for infrastructure, warehousing, production, and laboratory facilities. This role is vital for maintaining operational efficiency and reliable technology systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting a dayshift schedule (8:00am - 4:00PM, M-F), with possible changes based on business needs.
Processing tickets via SOPs to resolve customer issues.
Provisioning, deploying, and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and macOS workstations.
Provisioning, deploying, and troubleshooting bare-metal Windows and Linux servers.
Configuring and replacing network infrastructure such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
Participating in hiring, training, and development.
Providing support for Kuiper's production, lab, and launch infrastructure and software.
Offering remote support for Kuiper employees and infrastructure worldwide.
Performing scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
Assisting with project implementations and deployments.
Driving engineering best practices and setting standards.
Participating in on-call responsibilities.
This role requires up to 25% travel.
Security Clearance: US Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance are required.
A day in the life: You will review incidents, participate in team stand-ups, work on projects and tickets, and support production stability, emphasizing operational excellence and customer obsession.
About the team: Kuiper IT Services supports large-scale initiatives across Production, Lab, Launch, and Warehousing operations in a fast-paced environment.
Basic qualifications:
3+ years of technical infrastructure support experience
3+ years of networking fundamentals
3+ years working with clients and servers
Preferred qualifications:
CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications
