IT Operations Window Engineer

Our Client is seeking an experienced Windows Operations Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll lead and support enterprise Windows environments, manage Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, VMware, NetApp, and Azure systems, and drive key infrastructure initiatives. You’ll also troubleshoot complex issues, optimize system performance, and serve as a technical escalation point.
IT Operations Windows Engineer Location: Chester, NY Type: Full-time | Hybrid (3 days onsite after 90-days) Salary: $80K–$115K (based on experience and qualifications) Citizenship: U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only What They’re Looking For: 7–10 years of Windows server engineering experience Strong background in virtualization (VMware), mass storage (NetApp, PURE), and scripting (PowerShell)
Hands-on experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, M365, Azure, and system hardening
Experience with SCCM, SCOM, ManageEngine, and data center infrastructure
Proven leadership on large-scale IT projects
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, etc.) a plus
