Responsibilities include managing and securing network infrastructures across multiple sites including planning, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring network security, and safeguarding all hardware, software applications, and telecommunications devices.

Scope of Duties:

  • Plan, configure, and troubleshoot LAN and WAN networks, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.
  • Maintain the security of all network devices, implementing and managing firewalls, antivirus software, and other cybersecurity measures.
  • Document all network-related issues and solutions, tracking resolutions from identification to implementation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, ensuring all systems are up to date.
  • Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing fixes.
  • Secure and configure Cisco firewalls and establish secured Wi-Fi access points across all organizational sites.
  • Perform routine audits of systems and applications, ensuring proper user access controls.
  • Assist in the inventory management of IT-related hardware across the organization.
  • Provide end-user support and training on network and security best practices.
  • Develop and maintain help sheets and FAQs for users, and provide support for the resolution of IT issues.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on network equipment, workstations, and peripherals.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies, including security protocols and procedures.
  • Manage and monitor VOIP systems, including phone configurations and user profiles.
  • Recycle or appropriately dispose of outdated and unusable IT equipment.
  • Interact with clients, staff, and external contacts with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintain confidentiality of staff and client information in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervisory conferences
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department and organizational security.

SALARY: $75,000-$95,000 depending on experience
