Check it out and apply via iHireConstruction today! Taft is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support their Information Technology group in Cincinnati, Columbus, or Indianapolis. All employees operate under a "Client First" philosophy, aiming to provide exceptional service to clients. Duties & Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain Windows and Azure environments, including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other critical services, ensuring best practices and security standards. Manage the firms IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, data protection, cloud services, networking equipment, and environmental controls, following security and best practice requirements. Assist with configuring and maintaining datacenter networking and equipment. Support data protection policies, including backup technologies like Cohesity and Veeam, and storage replication technologies. Monitor IT equipment, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents to prevent outages or data loss. Apply patches, firmware updates, and OS upgrades securely across all IT assets. Manage remote access technologies and outside connections, including security hardening and multi-factor authentication. Support physical network installations, application updates, and security compliance. Identify system resource issues proactively and plan for growth. Participate in large IT projects involving storage, servers, virtualization, disaster recovery, email, VOIP, encryption, and vulnerability management. Document processes and ensure operational tasks are completed on schedule. Follow IT department standards and security policies, including change control and maintenance windows. Assist in decommissioning hardware securely, ensuring data wiping and e-waste recycling. Provide escalation support, adhere to ticketing procedures, and meet SLA requirements. Follow ITIL disciplines and processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Continuously update knowledge through seminars, reading, and participation in outside organizations.

Strong communication skills for reporting and documentation. Availability for after-hours work and on-call rotation.
Education and Experience Relevant education, training, experience, or certifications. Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and ADFS. Hardware maintenance experience with Dell, Cisco, HP, and storage technologies like Pure, Dell/EMC, Isilon, IBM, and cloud storage options. Minimum 5 years supporting IT infrastructure services. Experience with Exchange, VMware, and LAN/WAN technologies, with certifications preferred. Bachelors degree required; law firm experience is a plus.
