About The Role
Location: In person, 5 days/week in San Francisco (required)
We are seeking our first IT professional to join our San Francisco team and establish the function from scratch. The ideal candidate will have experience in startups and will help grow the IT team. This role involves providing technical and operational support to our global employees, requiring strong technical skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate should have both technical and operational experience supporting a diverse, regional team in an IT Engineer/Admin role, understanding daily IT operations in a growing company.
Administer a variety of SaaS applications, including provisioning, access modification, and removal.
Troubleshoot IT issues related to hardware, systems, networking, audio & video, and asset management.
Manage IT procurement, vendor relationships, and hardware/software inventory.
Device and Endpoint Management: Administer Mac devices with Kandji MDM, focusing on access control, security, and compliance.
Develop and maintain our Identity and Access Management (IAM) practices, ensuring secure, scalable access controls following the principle of least privilege.
Lead IT operations initiatives and special projects, analyze existing processes, suggest improvements, and implement new business processes.
Automate IT processes using tools and scripts to reduce manual work.
Collaborate with IT vendors and internal teams to implement and maintain infrastructure.
Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.
How To Be Successful In This Role
4+ years of professional experience in IT/helpdesk/customer service.
Proficiency in administering Google Workspace (G-Suite).
Experience with SSO & IAM Platforms.
Ability to manage AV hardware and software, including Zoom and other video conferencing tools.
Familiarity with our technology stack, including Jira, Slack, Salesforce, Zoom & Zoom Rooms, Kandji, among others.
Knowledge of networking concepts such as switching, firewalls, subnetting, wireless technologies, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary and equity, commensurate with experience and company stage.
Annual salary range: $110,000 - $140,000.
