We are seeking a seasoned IoT Platform Engineer with a strong background in Network Routing, WAN technologies, and Cisco SD-Access solutions to join our team in New York, NY. This hands-on role focuses on developing a lab environment to certify IoT endpoints, drive network automation, and integrate secure communication protocols.

• Design and develop lab frameworks for connecting IoT endpoints to campus/branch networks.
• Certify the hardware, software features, and communication scenarios between end and edge devices.
• Conduct detailed testing of data gathering, aggregation, and analytics functionalities.
• Lead and execute the testing and validation of micro/macro segmentation, NAC, and 802.1x integrations.
• Work with Cisco SD-Access (SDA), Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), TrustSec, and IOS XE-based products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, IT leadership, and technical stakeholders.
• Document configurations, test cases, findings, and present outcomes to higher management.
• Stay current on network automation and IoT integration trends to enhance platform performance.

• 10+ years of experience as an IoT Platform Engineer or in a similar network engineering capacity.
• 7+ years of experience in Network Routing and WAN technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in Cisco SD-Access (SDA) and Network Admission Control (NAC) including 802.1x and TrustSec.
• Strong experience with Cisco IOS XE, Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), and segmentation configuration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, validate, and certify end-to-end IoT connectivity and integration scenarios.
• Clear, professional communication skills – verbal and written – for collaboration and documentation.

• CCNP/CCIE or Cisco SDA certifications are a plus.
• Experience with automation scripting for network testing (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Exposure to zero-trust architecture and secure access design in large enterprises.
