A Renewable Fuels Facility in California is seeking an Instrumentation Reliability Engineer to lead critical maintenance and reliability initiatives, improve equipment performance, and support safe, sustainable operations. Key Responsibilities: ️ Lead instrumentation reliability programs to extend run-times and improve safety ️ Drive long-term equipment health through reliability tools and data analysis ️ Provide technical troubleshooting and support for operations and maintenance teams ️ Ensure compliance with Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety standards ️ Support turnaround (TAR) planning and execution ️ Collaborate on project scoping, budgeting, and vendor management ️ Lead or participate in incident investigations and HAZOP reviews Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline 3+ years of operations, maintenance, or engineering experience in refining, petrochemical, or heavy industry Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Strong understanding of process instrumentation, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and industry standards (API, ISA, NFPA, NEMA, etc.) preferred Experience with SAP, GE APM, and smart instrumentation tools preferred TWIC card eligibility and valid driver’s license required If you’re a motivated engineer with a passion for reliability and continuous improvement, we invite you to join a team driving innovation in renewable fuels.
