Join Our Team! We are on the lookout for skilled Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) with at least five (5) years of experience in the role. This exciting opportunity supports our customer's Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) projects at a Group organizational level, collaborating across various levels within the organization. Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen or a US Person (Green Card Holder), with the ability to obtain a level 4 Public Trust Clearance. This is primarily a remote role, with occasional onsite requirements. Candidates should be located in the DC Metro area to attend in-person meetings in Washington, DC as needed. Excellent multi-tasking abilities to handle multiple A&A systems/projects simultaneously and effective communication skills to engage with all levels, from developers and engineers to senior contractors and customer staff.
In-depth understanding of complex network environments, including shared networks and multiple security enclaves.
Adept at translating technical implementations into accessible security terminology, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders across varied levels of understanding.
Document and support security control implementations, as well as gather artifacts to comply with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation for various A&A efforts.
Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the architecture for each project to effectively write Systems Security Plans (SSP) and CONOPS.
Collaborate with systems owners, project managers, and engineering teams to produce critical A&A documents, including Contingency Plans (CP), General User Guides (GUG), Privileged User Guides (PUG), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Document Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) implementation responses and provide all necessary artifacts, gathering evidence from system owners, PMs, and engineering teams.
Coordinate with various contractor and customer personnel to gather A&A content and navigate the customer's A&A process, achieving Authorities like Authority to Develop (ATD), Interim Authority to Operate (IATT), and Authority to Operate (ATO) for assigned systems.
Provide support for systems under continuous monitoring that have received ATO.
Education, Experience & Skills Required: 8+ years of relevant experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Previous ISSE experience directly supporting customer initiatives.
Experience with SaaS applications and Public, Private, and/or Hybrid Cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.) is essential.
Certifications: At least one of the following is required: CISSP or GSLC certifications. Be a Part of Our Mission!
