We are looking for a HVAC Sales Manager/Estimator to work with our Established customer base, to work with
our HVAC air distribution and control products; primarily our Nailor and Portoff Product lines where we are an
exclusive rep for these in the region.
The successful candidate will become a key player in growing existing product lines that will expand our market
opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
- ? Identify target opportunities by reviewing incoming invitations to bid.
- ? Attend project walks and perform initial review of field conditions, if required.
- ? Download contract documents for review including plans, specifications and associated documents.
- ? Review contract documents as required, utilizing vendor estimating software to creating pricing.
- ? Create detailed takeoff's using Planswift software for entry into estimate.
- ? Work with the Branch Division Manager in order to assess risk through bid review and analysis.
- ? Identify potential scope and design gaps at the time of estimate.
- ? Prepare accurate quotes in a timely manner & assist in managing/tracking the quote flow.
- ? Engage in verification, validation, & qualification activities.
- ? Perform functional testing and data gathering as needed.
- ? Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering, purchasing, quality, shipping/receiving personnel, and management.
- ? Ability to read drawings, input orders, and communicate effectively with customers.
- ? The ability to simultaneously move forward a variety of different projects and client requests.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)
- Provide immediate first response to all quality related inquiries and reports from customers.
- Determine need for and plan / coordinate all visits to job sites, if required.
- Participate in representative and engineering training sessions.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience estimating HVAC mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and understand detailed plans and project specifications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential and take priority.
- Understanding of conceptual estimating and HVAC systems.
- Exceptional communication skills are required when working with customers, field leaders, and project managers, and a high level of professionalism is required.
- Competent with various software programs such as Word, Excel, Autobid, Outlook and Bluebeam.
Salary Description
$80K - $90K annually plus bonus
