This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system design for commercial, retail, medical, and office facilities, from initial concept through final mechanical submittal plans.

A P.E. license is optional but preferred. Strong familiarity with California Mechanical Codes and Title 24 Energy Compliance is required. Key Responsibilities: Design HVAC systems for commercial, retail, medical, and office projects

Develop complete HVAC mechanical submittal plans using AutoCAD

Ensure designs meet California Mechanical Codes and Title 24 compliance standards

Complete all necessary Title 24 documentation

Attend and participate in project meetings with architects, developers, and clients

Communicate design intent clearly with clients and internal teams

Coordinate with field superintendents to clarify project scope and design plans

Review and revise designs based on project requirements and feedback

Maintain strong professional communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications: Proven experience in HVAC mechanical design, preferably in commercial projects

Proficiency with AutoCAD and HVAC design tools

Strong understanding of California Mechanical Codes and Title 24 requirements

Ability to meet and communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project teams

Must be able to attend on-site meetings and perform site assessments as needed

P.E. License is optional but highly desirable

Strong references confirming prior HVAC design experience
