- Lead the development of assigned components or systems, ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and report HV connector performance requirements from customers to supply base to ensure the robust design, development, and validation of HV connector systems.
- Preparesupplier consultation packages(Sourcing Packages).
- Analyze supplier feedback and draftTechnical Supplier Assessment (TSA).
- Manage deliverables related to each project milestones.
- Oversee component development to meet QCDP targets.
- Co-develop with suppliers, including quality tracking (e.g., APQP).
- Ensuretechnical feasibility,manufacturability, anddesign robustness.
- ConductDFMEAand supportPFMEAexecution.
- Manageprototype deliveriesat each project milestone.
- Lead supplier interactions (technical reviews, purchasing meetings).
- Ensure properintegration of components into their environment (engine/vehicle/platform).
- Managetechnical changes and related documentation.
- Supportassembly plants from pilot phase to launch.
- Driveproduct and process validation plans (DV, PV).
- Managetechnical configurationand deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute tocost reductionandquality improvementinitiatives.
- Actively participate incrisis management.
- Contribute to the drafting oftechnical policies.
Scope of Responsibility:
- Full responsibility for a family of complex components.
- Draft specifications, ensure supplier compliance, manage design interfaces.
- Lead design, validation, industrialization, and launch phases.
- Functionally manage internal or external Engineering Designers.
