What You'll Do
This position will play a critical role as a thought partner in driving teams and carrying out the modernization of DevOps practices by automation , enabling self service and dev portal, Infrastructure as a Code, enabling GenAI for SDLC and engineering through GitHub CoPilot and improve developer productivity and efficiency.Ideally you will bring experience and confidence that will help drive new ways of thinking and further improve our own engineering maturity as a function and an organization.
The role will be actively working with multiple stakeholders including Technical Area Lead and others to execute and spearhead the development of Tooling API layer, manage DevOps toolchain, UI components for our Internal developer Platform along with evangelizing the adoption and best practices of Co pilot across all tribes/squads and BCG X and enable actionable insights on GitHub Copilot utilization, allowing better resource allocation and budget management. This includes guiding and mentoring fellow engineers, leading technical discussions, and making technical decisions and engage with key stakeholders in WWIT. The candidate must be open minded and interested in continuous learning, while being curious and unafraid to ask questions. He/She must be willing to innovate and initiate change, discover new solutions and present new ideas. He/She must work well in a global team environment and collaborate well with peers and stakeholders.

This position will involve daily collaboration with the leadership of development teams, vendors, stakeholders, and users throughout Agile design, development process. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong analytical abilities and creative problem solving Working independently with general direction and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Integrity and a positive attitude, especially while handling stressful situations Working with project stakeholders (technical as well as end users) to understand business requirements and implement solutions for diverse problems The ability to research viable technical and/or non-technical solutions, evaluate new technology and advocate, influence, and build consensus for innovations that satisfy business needs What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering (or equivalent degree or experience) 12+ years of relevant experience in delivering platform or complex technology solutions with strong technical background, preferably in global organization/ enterprise. 8+years of experience in designing/developing Enterprise scale software / platforms preferably with globally distributed engineering teams. Proficiency in .NetCore/Java/Python, Bootstrap and any JavaScript frameworks Expertise on native AWS/Azure platforms including Serverless functions , preferably Lambda in AWS Passionate expert in Modern Engineering, DevOps practices - Strong understanding of CI/CD, AI/ ML pipelines and automation tools. Prior experience in managing and integrating DevOps tools to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and enhance deployment efficiency Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). Critical Thinking and problem solving - proven ability to work through complex problems and analyses in providing a thoughtful concrete solution Motivation and self-drive - excited by tackling challenges and pro-actively finding new ways to provide value to senior leadership Exposure to Agile tools like Jira, Confluence etc Exposure to multiple OS platforms like Windows, Unix, Linux etc Who You'll Work With
You will be a member of the CI/CD toolkit Squad, a team passionate about enabling the variety of modern engineering tools and DevOps practices in BCG. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below. The base salary range for this role in New York is $152,350 - $156,700 This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 25% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
