Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Build and maintain client relationships, identify business opportunities, and contribute to business development efforts. Project Management: Oversee geotechnical aspects of projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Technical Expertise: Perform geotechnical investigations and provide consultation for design, construction, and modification phases of commercial projects. Examples of past and potential future projects include small commercial stores, retail buildings, car washes, gas stations, banks, and grocery stores. Reporting: Prepare and review geotechnical reports, providing professional opinions and practical solutions. Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team and other departments to ensure project success. Additional Responsibilities: Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards. Ensure all engineering work adheres to the highest quality standards and practices. Provide technical review of complex projects, supervise analysis, and formulate recommendations in written reports. Assist in managing unforeseen activities that may arise during the normal course of business. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred. Approximately 5 years of professional geotechnical engineering experience (flexible for the right candidate). Strong experience in commercial geotechnical projects Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and stakeholders. Experience with proposal preparation and business development is a plus. Familiarity with specialty geotechnical software products and some CAD proficiency. Valid Driver’s License.
