Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh
Selectek is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to begin working for a great client of ours in Pittsburgh, PA immediately. This is a FULLY REMOTE position! This candidate will be responsible for managing projects for dams, oil/gas, mine site reclamation, and CCR for state, local, and federal programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in CCR impoundment closures, mine waste disposal, mine reclamation, dam stability evaluations, soft ground engineering, and oil & gas development
- Active EIT certification or PE license
- Proficient in geotechnical engineering tasks, including field data collection, construction monitoring, calculations, and design under the supervision of senior engineers
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, including SPT and CPT in-situ testing, lab data analysis, and material property characterization
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, SLIDE, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of geotechnical analyses for dams, foundations, and earth retention structures, with experience in instrumentation programs and construction QA/QC
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States
Pay Rate: $76k - $110k
