Full-Stack Software Engineer (Data Pipeline Focus) Location:  Columbia, MD Clearance Required:  TS/SCI with Polygraph Compensation Range:  $210,000 – $260,000 (annualized USD)
Description: Join a high-impact, mission-driven team as a  Full-Stack Software Engineer , supporting a mature and well-established technical organization. You’ll be a member of a 6-person  Data Pipeline team , which plays a critical role within a broader 20+ person development organization. Together, the team supports a robust web-based platform that integrates diverse publicly available information (PAI) sources into a powerful analytical tool used by hundreds of mission customers.
In this role, you'll contribute across the stack—developing ingest pipelines, building scalable REST APIs, and enhancing user-facing visualizations. The platform supports large-scale data ingestion, complex queries, and interactive analysis. While your primary focus will be on the  data pipeline layer , you’ll collaborate closely with other sub-teams to ensure end-to-end functionality and performance.

Responsibilities:
Take ownership of complex features and contribute to the design and development of a high-impact, full-stack software platform
Architect scalable, maintainable solutions using modern development and design patterns
Build and enhance backend capabilities, including data ingest pipelines and scalable RESTful APIs, with occasional collaboration on frontend components
Apply deep knowledge of microservices architecture and NoSQL databases to develop reliable, high-performing systems
Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and fellow engineers to ensure solutions meet operational needs
Promote code quality, mentor teammates, and share best practices
Help identify and implement process improvements to support faster delivery of new data sources and overall team efficiency
Skills Requirements:
Proficiency in  Java  and  Spring Framework  (Spring Boot, Spring MVC/REST, Spring Security, Spring Data)
Experience with  NoSQL databases  (e.g., Elasticsearch, Dgraph, MongoDB, Redis)
Strong familiarity with  Git  for version control and  Maven  for build automation
Comfortable working in a  Linux  development environment
Experience using  Atlassian tools , including Jira and Confluence, for task tracking and documentation
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Haves:
Proficiency in data wrangling using  Apache NiFi  or similar tools
Experience with  AWS services  (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda)
Scripting proficiency in  Python ,  Groovy , and/or  Bash
Exposure to  AI/ML technologies  or workflows, particularly for data enrichment or analysis
Frontend development experience with modern  JavaScript  and a GUI framework like  Vue.js
Familiarity with  CI/CD tools  (e.g., Jenkins) and automated testing (e.g., JUnit)
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as  Docker  and  Kubernetes
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as  Packer ,  Terraform , and  Ansible
Experience with production  CNO capabilities  and operations
Education & Experience Requirement:
12+ years of relevant experience
B.S. in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree)
Compensation & Employment Policy: Salary at Intezra is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is  $210,000 to $260,000 (annualized USD).
