About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support the Navy Performance Management Administration (NPMA) — a transformative system modernizing how the Department of the Navy evaluates performance and promotions.
You’ll help develop and scale this mission-critical application by building secure, cloud-native software and integrating it with key Navy platforms like RAISE, NIAPS, NIS, CANES, and ACS. This is part of a high-visibility effort aligned with the “Get Real, Get Better” (GRGB) strategy, led by NIWC Pacific and supported by HR specialists and I/O psychologists.
What You’ll Do: Design and build secure full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and modern frameworks (React, Angular)
Develop cloud solutions with AWS & Azure (EC2, RDS, EKS, App Services, etc.)
Work in containerized environments using Docker & Kubernetes
Collaborate on the NPMA system as it moves from prototype to full production
Integrate with DoN systems and ensure cybersecurity compliance
Follow Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies to deliver functional, scalable code
Use modern design patterns like microservices, CQRS, and distributed caching

What You Bring: 5+ years of full-stack development experience Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, C#, SQL, C/C++, or similar Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) Familiar with tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Red Hat, Jira Knowledge of DoD systems and secure software development practices Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams , Desired Skills
