About the Role

We're hiring a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to lead as we scale. You'll be both hands-on in the code and influential in shaping our long-term technical vision. This is a rare opportunity to define engineering culture, make architectural decisions, and build core systems from scratch - all while solving deep technical challenges. You'll work directly with the founders to build an engineering-first culture and redefine how homes are designed and planned with AI.

What You'll Do Own core architecture and technical roadmap Build production systems end-to-end using TypeScript, React/Next.js, Python, and Postgres Define engineering culture rooted in quality, velocity, and ownership Mentor and grow the early team, leading by example Streamline developer workflows with strong CI/CD and infrastructure practices Solve frontier problems in 3D visualization, AI search, and AR Collaborate closely with design, product, and company leadership to drive innovation Who You Are

Must-Haves 5-10 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer Proven ability to build and ship production systems from scratch Experience leading technical direction or architecture (formally or informally) Strong computer science fundamentals; CS degree from a top 30 university High agency, high ownership mindset - thrives in ambiguity and startup pace Deep knowledge of: Frontend : TypeScript, React, Next.js Backend : Python (with Types), Postgres Tooling/Infra : CI/CD, developer experience, AWS Strong communicator and collaborator with a winning mentality Nice-to-Haves Experience with iOS, Swift-UI, ARKit, or IFC file formats Previous work on frontier technologies (AI, AR, advanced 3D web, etc.) Familiarity with Numpy, Pytorch, or spatial/architectural data workflows Traits We Value Productive Creativity : Moves fast while focusing on impact Intellectual Partnership : Technically sharp, academically accomplished Frontrunner Energy : Built v1 products in new or emerging tech categories No Quit : Solves hard problems and figures it out, no matter what Compensation & Logistics Salary : $160,000 - $220,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates) Equity : 0.2% - 1.6% Visa : TN or H1B transfer support available Location : On-site in San Francisco Timeline : Hiring 1 person within 6 weeks Manager : Arjun Mathur, Co-Founder About the Team Andy - Former Global Head of Product Design at Palantir, Stanford alum Arjun - Former SVP at Palantir, led a 150-person org and closed $1B+ in bookings, also Stanford alum Team size: 5 and growing
