Job Details
We’re hiring an early Customer-Facing Engineer to join our lean team and help scale our AI-powered automation platform. In this hybrid role, you’ll bridge the gap between engineering, product, and customers — shaping the product while ensuring seamless customer success through pilots, onboarding, migrations, and beyond.
This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working directly with users, solving messy technical problems, and wearing many hats at a fast-moving startup. You’ll help bring our vision to life in real-world customer environments and accelerate adoption of our technology.
Your Impact: Drive Customer Pilots: Partner with prospects to design and deliver technically complex proof-of-concept solutions that highlight the platform’s capabilities and value. Lead Onboarding & Implementation: Help new customers get up and running — configuring systems, applying best practices, and ensuring a smooth rollout. Build Automations: Develop workflow automations for advanced business logic, combining our workflow tools with custom code as needed. Contribute to Product Development: Write production-quality code to extend product functionality and address real-world customer needs. Migrate Legacy Systems: Plan and execute low-disruption migrations from older tools to our platform. Post-Sales Technical Support: Be a trusted technical partner for customers, solving problems and advocating for their needs with our internal teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to share insights from the field, influence the roadmap, and build impactful features. Enable Customer Self-Sufficiency: Run training sessions and create clear documentation to empower customers to succeed independently.
What You Bring: At least 3 years’ experience in an engineering role with significant customer interaction — such as Product Engineer, Solutions/Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Specialist — ideally at a SaaS company. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting, and shipping production code to solve business problems and troubleshoot customer issues. Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to guide customers from proof-of-concept through launch with an eye on delivering value and a great experience. Startup Agility: Self-driven and comfortable in fast-changing environments where priorities shift and creative problem solving is key. Excellent Communicator: Able to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and business audiences with clarity. Creative Problem Solver: Resourceful, hands-on, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice to Have: Early-stage startup experience as a technical team member. Background or familiarity in IT, security, or service management domains, giving you context for our customers and their challenges.
