We seek an enthusiastic, experienced Full-stack API Software Engineer/Technical Anchor to lead and build scalable solutions for a digital buying experience. You will lead one of the Pricing workstreams with a team of Software Engineers to design, build, and deliver global solutions for vehicle commerce, accessories, parts, and merchandise. We foster a strong engineering culture that encourages innovation, growth, and development.
This is a hybrid role, with onsite work four days a week in Dearborn, MI. Relocation assistance may be available.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years in Java, open-source tech, and microservices with advanced Java concepts
5+ years in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and GCP technologies (Cloud Run, Bigtable, Postgres SQL); AWS/Azure acceptable
5+ years in unit testing with JUnit, TestNG
3+ years as a Technical Leader, with skills including:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience leading software engineering teams in agile environments
Adherence to secure coding practices with at least 90% code coverage
Preferred qualifications...
Master’s Degree in relevant fields
Experience debugging UI issues across browsers and devices
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
Experience with version control tools like Git, and collaborative platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket
Exposure to cloud platforms like Google, Amazon, or Microsoft
Experience with NoSQL datastores
Skills in developing scalable UI with NextJS/React JS
Proficiency in JavaScript architectural patterns
Strong facilitation skills and teamwork abilities
